Loan Down Payment Assistance
CNE offers Down Payment Assistance programs to help homebuyers in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas cover closing costs and down payments included in the home buying process.
CNE is currently offering:
CNE's in-house down payment assistance option offers up to $25,000 as a second mortgage loan becoming payable on a monthly basis after the purchase date. It will begin amortizing in year one, at a rate of the first mortgage and would be paid off in a maximum of 15 years. There is no pre-payment penalty. Qualification is dependent on your household size and income. Chattanooga Neighborhood Lending’s Down Payment Assistance is available in Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie counties.
RockPointBank's partner down payment assistance program offers loans up to $50,000 as a second mortgage amortizing over 30 years at the rate of the first mortgage. There is no pre-payment penalty. Minimum borrower contribution of $1,000 and completion of an EhomeAmerica homebuyer education course are required. Loans assist with the purchase of a single-family residence in Hamilton County. Other financial qualifications apply.

ITIN Loans
At Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise (CNE), we believe every hardworking member of our community deserves a path to homeownership. That’s why we are proud to offer ITIN Mortgage Products. These specialized loans allow individuals who do not have a Social Security Number (SSN) to apply for a home loan using their Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
